Terms of Service

DealDad monitors newly posted public Facebook Marketplace listings, compares each one against market data — such as recent eBay sold prices, dealer listings, book values, and comparable listings — and sends you an alert when a listing looks priced below its likely market value. We surface information; we don’t buy, sell, broker, appraise, inspect, or guarantee any item.

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Service. You’re responsible for your account credentials and for everything that happens under your account. Keep your login secure and tell us promptly at support@dealdad.io if you suspect unauthorized use.

DealDad is a paid subscription. Plans and current pricing are shown at checkout. Key terms:

• Free trial. New subscribers may start a 30-day free trial. A valid payment method is required to begin the trial.
• Auto-renewal. Unless you cancel before your trial or current billing period ends, your subscription automatically renews and your payment method is charged the then-current plan price each period (monthly unless stated otherwise) until you cancel.
• Cancellation. You can cancel anytime from your account settings. Cancellation stops future renewals and takes effect at the end of the current paid period; you keep access until then.
• Refunds. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable and partial periods aren’t prorated. If you were charged in error, email us and we’ll make it right.
• Price changes. We may change plan prices or features with advance notice. Price changes apply to your next renewal after the notice.

Payments are processed by Stripe. We don’t store your full card number. By subscribing you authorize us and Stripe to charge your payment method for the amounts due, including on renewal. You’re responsible for any taxes that apply.

Every value, range, deal score, and potential-savings figure DealDad shows is an estimate generated from available data — not a guaranteed price, appraisal, profit, or promise that an item will sell or resell for any amount. Listings, conditions, and prices change fast, and third-party listings may be inaccurate, expired, or removed. Do your own due diligence — inspect items, verify details, and decide for yourself before you message, negotiate, buy, or drive anywhere.

You agree not to:

• resell, redistribute, or scrape the Service or its alerts, or share your account with others;
• use the Service to break any law, or to harass, defraud, or harm anyone;
• copy, reverse-engineer, or interfere with the Service, our infrastructure, or our security;
• use automated means to access the Service beyond what we make available to you.

DealDad is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Facebook, Meta, eBay, or any marketplace or seller. Listings and marketplace content belong to their owners and are subject to those platforms’ own terms. Any dealing you have with a seller is strictly between you and them.

The Service, including its software, design, and content (excluding third-party listing data), is owned by DealDad and protected by law. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable license to use the Service for your own deal hunting while your subscription is active. All other rights are reserved.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don’t warrant that alerts will be timely, complete, accurate, or uninterrupted.

To the fullest extent allowed by law, DealDad won’t be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, missed deals, or bad buys. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim.

You can stop using the Service and cancel anytime. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or misuse the Service. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (payments owed, disclaimers, limitation of liability) will survive.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes we’ll update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
